The Elms Retirement Estate is managed by Inheritance Capital Asset Management (ICAM), a South Australian based alternative investments fund manager. The Elms is a picturesque, inclusive and welcoming community of 132 Independent Living Units and 34 Independent Living Apartments, which provide a distinctive retirement lifestyle for residents.
  
ICAM is looking for a new Village Manager to lead The Elms (VIC) and oversee operations, sales and the ongoing success of the village – including the wellbeing and happiness of all residents.  This is a 6-month contract opportunity with a view to extension or permanency. Reporting to the General Manager, the Village Manager will ensure high standards are maintained and managed, while coaching and inspiring the team to deliver the utmost quality in customer service. You will contribute to the strategic direction of the village, have exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, a high degree of demonstrated management experience and sound financial acumen.
  
To be successful in this exciting role, you will be highly professional and resilient, have strong commercial ability and the maturity to interact with your residents respectfully and with empathy. Candidates with specific retirement living operations experience will be viewed favourably, however experience managing an operational asset in a different sector will also be considered. Proven sales experience will also be favourably viewed.
